ÆNNIÆ’s (An-ya) range is diverse and ever-mutating, drawing inspiration from various music spaces and places she’s called home, from the prairies to the UK to the Pacific coast. Guided by a genre-fluid sense of mood and energy, her sets blend groovy rhythms, colourful, heady atmospheres, and trippy textures, modulating between long-form percussive techno, breaks, drum-forward tracks, energetic club, and heartfelt house and trance.  ÆNNIÆ is also one of the main forces behind Resonance Collective in Victoria organizing thoughtful and open minded musical and visually immersive events with great curation of sounds and positive vibes.

Lucci has shared stages with notable artists like Maya Jane Coles, Daria Kolosova, and Skream, demonstrating her versatility across genres like house and techno. Sergio SP

Sergio SP is the solo project of Calgary raised and Toronto based, producer, and DJ Sandro Petrillo. Known for his fresh take on floor-filling house and techno, blending classic and forward-thinking sounds, Sandro has been making and performing music for a decade now, featuring at festivals and clubs at cultural centres across Canada. Sandro is an ardent advocate for local scenes through his numerous community projects. Along with partner Dan Solo, Sandro contributed to the growing foundation of the west coast underground scene by championing weekly parties, one-offs, and experimental events, culminating in the weekly Calgary event series Northern Lights and Modern Math which later became the label Modern Math recordings. Sergio SP makes his debut at The Cube for his 3rd appearance at MEME on June 7th!

Trevor Walker

For 30 years, Trevor Walker has been one of Canada’s best kept secrets. But talk to anyone who’s danced to his sets, booked him or shared the decks with him and the word legend is often used to praise his work. Collecting and playing music since 1988, he spent 21 years as a resident at Ottawa’s Mercury Lounge, one of the longest lasting and most respected venues in the country, playing alongside DJs such as : Derrick Carter, Louie Vega, Gilles Peterson, Fred Everything, Quantic, King Britt, Dj Spinna, Osunlade, Roger Sanchez, Josh Wink, and the list goes on. Trevor is returning to play MEME 2025 after making his debut appearance in Winnipeg last year where he won over tons of new fans with his funky, world class eclectic house music selections.

AWood

AWood curates eclectic sets spanning techno, trance, house and breaks. They have showcased their work at festivals such as Basscoast, Shambhala and Re-Union, and have shared the stage with renowned house and techno artists across Canada. Between shows and releases, AWood remains committed to nurturing the local scene by volunteer teaching in their home studio in Vancouver BC. They are inspired by all of the moments they have shared on the dance floor, especially under the stars in the pacific northwest. AWood is playing a back to back set with their partner Lucci at The Pyramid Cabaret on Saturday June 7th for the Cube After Party.

Esette

For the past 25 years house music artist Esette (Isis Graham) has played an instrumental role in shaping Calgary’s dance music landscape into the internationally recognized hotspot that it is today. Her 30-plus releases have received support from artists like Maceo Plex, Fred Everything, Giom, Luke McKeehan, Animal Trainer, Vanilla Ace, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, DJ Heather, DOZA, and Pezzner. As a DJ she’s been invited to play notable festivals like Bass Coast, WMC, Decibel, and ADE.  Esette makes her triumphant return to MEME playing a back to back set at The Cube with Shael on June 7th!

With a deep appreciation for the craft of DJing, digging, and sharing music, Mood Change (real name Taylor) seeks out classic and contemporary sounds across genres with a focus on the deep, lush and emotive. A longtime contributor to the Canadian west coast scene, Taylor’s past efforts have included organizing and promoting local events, curating Versions, a long-running patio party in Calgary and starting the celebrated mix series Excursions.fm. Taylor has been on support for acts such as Lone, Leon Vynehall and Mall Grab, and has performed at festivals like Bass Coast, Shambhala, Rifflandia, and Sled Island.   Mood Change headlines The Winnipeg Art Gallery on June 6th!

Shael

Shael (“Shy-Elle”) is a Winnipeg-based artist with a true passion for house music and bringing people together on the dance floor. An established DJ in the Western Canadian underground dance scene for over two decades, Shael has brought her distinct style to an array of electronic music events, radio shows, and festivals in her hometown and beyond. While specializing in all moods of house music, she aims to showcase a variety of sounds; from deep and classic house grooves, to disco and “bompin” house jams with a dash of breakbeats and garage, she offers musical versatility with an innate ability to program her DJ sets for any type of crowd or setting. Shael plays the closing set at The Cube with Esette on June 7th!
