MEME 2025 takes place on June 6th & 7th at The Winnipeg Art Gallery, Old Market Square and The Pyramid Cabaret. Early bird festival passes are just $70 and go up to $85 on February 1st - link also in bio 🔊✅
We`re very excited to be returning to the Winnipeg Art Gallery for one of our MEME venues on Friday June 6th. This event will feature both a rooftop party and an indoor room with some very special musical guests and visual performances.
MEME festival passes are still available for a special early bird price until Feb 1st, link to purchase in our bio. Lineups coming before the end of February, stay tuned!
The good people at @properywg have their next event taking place this Friday Jan 17th at @sidestagewpg. The featured guest is Bambz, a local legend of sorts from Winnipeg. Bambz was involved in throwing some of the most exciting raves and club nights in the city back in the late 90`s and early 2000`s. He was also the owner of Nyce records, Winnipeg`s most noteworthy electronic music record store and rave gathering place back in the day. He`ll be bringing his very deep crate of garage and house music to share for this special occasion.
The other special guest is Mother Mary from Vancouver, she played at MEME in 2024 as part of Buff N Pretty. Mother Mary brings the finest selection of beats and dancefloor worthy shakers to her sets.
Local all-stars Mark Grimace and elle fast will be sure to set the stage perfectly for this winning evening of music and dancing 🔊🏆🔊

From humble beginnings to now! Did you know that The Cube was built in 2010, and MEME was the very first event to take place there?
The Cube is an open-air performance venue located in Old Market Square, the iconic green space and summer festival hub in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District.
Every summer, The Cube serves as the free stage for MEME, hosting an incredible lineup of regional and international artists from around the globe.

Crabskull is a Winnipeg-based musician, producer, and DJ.
A dedicated record collector, Crabskull’s early productions were rooted in soulful samples, drawing inspiration from ‘90s hip-hop pioneers like DJ Muggs and RZA. He’s collaborated with numerous artists and released albums on his own label, The Fabulous Itch Cassette Co.
After discovering Kraftwerk’s Computer World, his sound evolved towards electro and techno. Blending classic electro with dub, acidic basslines, and funky tech rhythms, Crabskull’s live performances are entirely hardware-based and largely improvised, showcasing his constant evolution and experimental approach to live music.
His DJ sets offer a unique blend of his original productions and cutting-edge sounds that inspire him.

Nathan Zahn is one of the original members of Symptom Technologies which hosted their first events at The Nutty Club warehouse in the summer of 1996. Over the years Symptom Tech has hosted many dozens of notable Canadian and international artists at unique venues and have continually been at the forefront of the electronic music scene. In 2010 Nathan along with a group of Winnipeg DJs, promoters and label owners started MEMETIC which puts on MEME each year in The Exchange District. Fast forward to today and Nathan continues to be heavily involved in the Canadian electronic music scene as a DJ, promoter and curator.
On November 9th come celebrate one of Canada`s longest running electronic music collectives (and Nathan Zahn`s birthday party) at this very special anniversary event.

elle fast is a dance floor loiterer/supporter/promoter who very much enjoys the deep connections enabled through music.
Dedicated to finding unusual grooves for dance floor catharsis, her sets weave through assorted shades and eras of house, techno, and breakbeat, often held together by a thick bassline and/or generous helping of machine funk.
Current projects and affiliations include music for bathtubs., a mix series focusing on chill/leftfield sounds; Proper., a Winnipeg-based event series showcasing local artists; and Pan-tone, a DIY collective of hardware/live techno enthusiasts.
elle fast is coming off of an in-demand summer having played a number of gigs across Western Canada , catch her on home turf at this very special anniversary event on Nov. 9th at Club Happenings.
